Fee schedules checked on
Contact
E-mail: contact@carfeeledger.com. Please never send a VIN, a plate number, a title or a driver's license: we do not need them to check a fee.
Useful messages
- A fee that differs from your DMV or county receipt: give the state, the county, the inputs (or paste the share link) and the amount on the receipt. We compare it with the state's schedule and correct the data file if the schedule changed.
- A new fee chart, a law that changes a fee, or a county rate table we have not used.
- Embedding the calculator on your site: start with the embed page.
What we cannot do
We are not a DMV and cannot see your registration, renew it, explain a late penalty on your account or speed up a title. For that, the state agency named on each state page is the right door. The method page says what our figures can and cannot know.

Estimate only: amounts come from each state’s published fee schedules and tax rates as read on the date shown. Special plates, late penalties, local add-ons a county adopts mid-year and the exact value an agency assigns to a used car can change the bill. Your DMV or county tax office has the final word.
